Welcome to Amy Cavalier's online portfolio. I am a Multifaceted Communications Professional with more than 15 years of experience in writing, editing, public relations, social media and video production. A versatile, enthusiastic and innovative multimedia producer, I am capable of developing clear, creative and effective news, marketing, web and corporate communications.

My skills include:

As the leader of the Rochester Minimalists and a co-administrator of the Buy Nothing Beechwood/Homestead Heights/North Winton Village Group , I am helping others explore our relationship with things, evaluate what brings value to our lives, reduce our environmental footprint and question consumerism.

I'm also the founder of Cavalier Living. Whether you're getting married, seeking adventures with like-minded individuals, or planning an event or excursion, Cavalier Living has the tools, connections and ideas to make life journeys unforgettable. Ask me how I can use my knack for organization, passion for community building and innate ability to leave a lasting impression to create your one-of-a-kind life event, group excursion or project.

Among some of the highlights of my career, I appeared on Investigative Discovery's On the Case with Paula Zahn in 2011, on Investigative Discovery's Someone You Thought You Knew in 2018 and served as an Investigative Assistant in the 2006 true crime novel Betrayal in Blood by author Michael Benson.
